hello all, i have a 700sps in 204 ruger that for the life of me cannot get to shoot under a inch group at 100yds. i tried everything i know of to improve it short of replacing the barrel,i tried every load combo i can think of, Ive free floated the barrel then installed pressure points up and down the barrel,the trigger is a nice 2 1/2 lbs, tried another stock(wood), tried different scopes,had a gunsmith check the crown and barrel its ok. I'm thinking of cutting a inch off the barrel and try that to see what happens. does anyone have any ideas what else i can do short of replacing the barrel? maybe i overlooked something. thanks,snipe01
