i am a very large guy 6.2 350 pounds and most stands will not hold me but i have been using ground blinds the past 3 years and have really liked them just a thought for you larger individuals like myself

I never was one to climb trees, so I like sitting on the ground too. The nice thing about the ground blinds is you can take a chair, heater, lunch and still be hidden. Knocks the wind off too.

yea it really helps with the wind i was in kansass hunting 2 years ago when a cold front dropped in drove temps below zero but with the wind chill it was -12 the blind really helped along with my buddy heater that was just a little too cold for this warm blooded country boy ive been in colder but i really dont care for it

Plus, I feel safer on the ground because I often go to sleep. Don't have so far to fall. :))
