Through the years, I've only used Bullseye or Unique for my .38spl loads.

I haven't loaded 38's with IMR but I've heard that it is dirty. I use Clays or W231 with 158gr LSWC.

believe me it is dirty! tried a light load with 3.1gr of clays and 158gr bullets which works great. very accurate out of my short barrel S/W.

I've tried the HP-38. Kind of on the dirty side for me. So I started using HS-6, I like it a lot better

Just wondering if anyone has tried Hodgdon's Lil' Gun for 357 Magnum. I've reloaded some and did it according to the recipe at Hodgdon's website and it seems like those loads might be too hot. They have way more kick that even factory loads or anything else I've tried. I didn't notice anything abnormal with the brass or the primers after shooting.
