Many European bores in 380acp are .357 or larger.

 | Question | | I was just reading your answer from eariler questions. Are your 124 grain bullets exactly like the 100 grain? As much as the truncated cone style? | | Answer | | Same geometric shape. The 122 grain 9mm has a slightly smaller meplat. (flat nose diameter)
I listed an add for the 122 grain with a photo. | | | | Question | | Are gas checks required for loading? I am new to cast/lead bullets but starting to look to get some for loading to test. Again, curious about what the colored bands are, Is this some type of lube or ring to reduce fouling? Thanks - Matt | | Answer | | No gas checks on these. The colored band is indeed lube. I also have 124 grain 9mm bullets. For 380 auto I cast these100 grain bullets form a BHN #12 alloy. Not many people want to shoot a 1000 grain bullet from a 9 x 19mm but when they do I cast them from straight 2/6 bullet aloy at a BHN #15. | | | | Question | | Are gas checks required for loading? Finally, what is the BR hardness rating of your casts? Thanks - Matt | | Answer | | - | | | | Question | | Are gas checks required for loading?
